The King's Temple Church, Hyderabad ("TKT Church", "we", "us") operates the join.tktchurch.com website and registration experience for our weekly service (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you visit the site or register to attend.
1. Who we are
This is a free weekly service hosted by The King's Temple Church. For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us through tktchurch.com or the church office at Road No. 3, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, India.
2. Information we collect
When you register for TKT Church, we may collect:
- Name and contact details (phone number, email address)
- Registration and ticket information
- Optional details you provide during sign-up (for example, church or city)
- Family/guest details you add to your registration or household
- Household or family member details, if you added them
- Profile photo (if you upload one) and related publication preferences
- Transportation preferences (for example bus pickup/drop) where requested
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information
Authentication is handled through TKT Church's identity platform. We do not sell your personal data.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Process your registration for TKT Church and issue your ticket
- Send event updates, reminders, and programme information, including operational messages on WhatsApp where you have consented
- Manage check-in and attendance on event day
- Coordinate transportation (bus pickup/drop) where requested
- Improve the Service and keep it secure
- Comply with applicable law
4. Legal basis
We process your data based on your consent when you register, our legitimate interest in running a safe and well-organised church event, and our legal obligations. Where India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) applies, we process personal data in line with its requirements.
5. Sharing and storage
WhatsApp and messaging. With your registration consent, we may send operational WhatsApp messages about this service — for example ticket details and reminders — via Meta WhatsApp Business and our messaging providers. A support chat link on the site opens WhatsApp so you can message the church; that conversation is subject to WhatsApp’s own terms. Marketing messages, if any, are only sent where permitted and with appropriate consent.
Advertising audiences (Meta Custom Audience). If you separately opted in on the registration consent step, we may upload your name, email, and phone number — always as SHA-256 hashed values, never in plain text — to Meta as a Custom Audience, so we can measure and target advertising for TKT Church events. We only include registrants who gave this specific opt-in; it is never required to register. You can withdraw it at any time from your profile, which removes you from future uploads (Meta processes any audience already uploaded under its own retention policies). Your data is accessed only by authorised TKT Church staff and service providers who help us run registration, messaging, and event operations. Data may be stored on servers located in India or other jurisdictions with appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention
We keep registration and attendance data for as long as needed to administer TKT Church and meet legal or pastoral requirements, then delete or anonymise it when no longer required. Messaging consent records and analytics data follow the same operational need, plus each vendor’s retention practices.
7. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or withdraw consent for your personal data, or to raise a grievance. To make a request, contact us through tktchurch.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. You can also withdraw Meta advertising-audience consent from your profile without contacting us.
8. Cookies and analytics
The Service uses essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your registration session.
We also use Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure and improve advertising for TKT Church. These tools may set cookies such as _fbp and _fbc, and may receive hashed contact details after you provide them — for example phone, email, name, date of birth, and a stable account identifier — along with technical data such as IP address and browser type. We do not use Facebook Login, so a Facebook Login id is not sent. This helps us understand which ads lead to registrations and improve Event Match Quality. Meta processes this data under its own policies.
Separately from this automatic Pixel/Conversions API tracking, and only if you opted in on the registration consent step, we may also upload a hashed customer list (Meta Custom Audience — see §5) so we can target advertising at people similar to past registrants. This customer-list upload requires your explicit opt-in and can be withdrawn independently of cookie-based tracking.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Service, including interactions, navigation, and session recordings. Clarity may set first-party cookies such as _clck and _clsk. Clarity receives technical and usage data, but we do not send it your raw name, phone number, email address, or identity-platform account identifier. After registration, we may associate the session only with an opaque registration or acquisition id. Depending on configuration, Clarity may load automatically; you can limit ad tracking in your browser or device settings. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Essential cookies required for sign-in and registration will continue to work even if you limit analytics tracking.
9. Children
TKT Church welcomes families. If you register a minor as part of your family group, you confirm you are their parent or guardian and consent to their attendance. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data without appropriate consent, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
